Below is a list of current groups who are eligible to receive the COVD-19 vaccine based on New York State guidelines (updates in bold):

  • Individuals 30 years and older.  Individuals must show proof of residency and age.
  • Beginning Tuesday, April 6, all New Yorkers age 16 and older will be eligible. (Only the Pfizer vaccine is authorized for individuals 16+, the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines are authorized for individuals 18+).
  • College staff working remotely because they are not vaccinated but would begin working in person once they have been vaccinated. (Please contact Human Resources at HR@mercy.edufor an eligibility letter.)
