The School of Liberal Arts teaches students how to think critically and creatively as the foundation for lifelong learning. We offer programs in academic areas such as History and English, and in more applied fields such as Cybersecurity and Music Production and Recording Arts.

4+1 Programs

School of Education

Students seeking degrees in English, Mathematics, Spanish, and History may also pursue our "4+1" programs with the School of Education. These 5-year programs allow students to complete a B.A. in their undergraduate field and M.S. in Adolescence Education or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), with certification to teach in their field.

Computer Science

Students seeking a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity may pursue 4+1 options that combine a B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Computer Science (Data Science or Software Development) or B.S. in Cybersecurity and M.S. in Cybersecurity.

General Education

Before being awarded a degree, all students are expected to demonstrate an appropriate level of competence in the essential skills of a college graduate. Assessments will occur in courses within the General Education curriculum - including the Critical Inquiry course and the Junior Seminar.
