Vlogƽ Announces Brett M. Carroll as the New Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Vlogƽ has appointed Brett M. Carroll as Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He will join the College on February 1.
Carroll brings 25 years of experience in finance and accounting across various sectors, including higher education, financial services and public accounting. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President and Treasurer at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT where he oversees all university treasury functions, including the university’s $165M endowment, and helps monitor the university’s $250M annual operating budget.

His commitment and expertise will help us to further the mission of Vlogƽ.”

Previously, Carroll spent several years in the financial services industry where he served as Director at UBS Global Asset Management in Hartford, CT, as well as Manager at Landmark Partners in Simsbury, CT. Carroll began his career at Coopers and Lybrand (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Hartford, CT, and has also held senior leadership positions in the not-for-profit industry.
Carroll was selected following a comprehensive search process that produced a highly qualified pool of applicants. Carroll is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
