Distance Education Regulations
Distance Education Regulations
The Faculty Senate Task Force on Distance Education in conjunction with Mercy Online, The Office of Educational Assessment, The Center for Teaching and Learning, and the Office of the Provost, has developed educational material to support compliance with applicable regulations from the United States Department of Education (USDE) and New York State Education Department (NYSED).
As you prepare for future courses, please use these resources; we want to continue to improve the quality of online teaching and learning. One suggestion is to try the credit hour calculator and syllabus insert for one course, and share your experience with the Faculty Senate Task Force. The Task Force will use your feedback to improve the material and tools.
